The COVID - 19 crisis hit the hospitality industry the hardest and adjustments needed to be made. Many restaurants and bars had to introduce social distancing measures and implemented QR code menus with a basic image of their menu. The team behind doXmenu, as avid restaurant and bar goers ourselves, liked the idea behind the QR code menus, but there was just something missing. They were clunky, hard and unnatural to use, and that's because the old menus weren't designed to be used on a small screen, like a phone. That's how the idea behind doXmenu was born. We wanted to create a platform where any owner can easily make a personalized digital menu for their business, and at the same time, the costumers of the business will be happy to use the new menu. That's exactly what we did.
